Animal Crusaders


Every Sunday, the Compassionate Crusaders Trust holds a camp with the help of the veterinary care unit of Army's Eastern Command, to provide free treatment and healthcare to hackneys and ponies used for joy rides opposite the Victoria Memorial. The Calcutta Police and the Corps of Military Police provide logistic support.
